摘要: A non-destructive method for assessing the maturity of guava fruit was developed based on mechanical properties obtained from dropped impact responses. The levels were classified with cluster and discriminant analyses raw measurements their derived indices. number indices being processed reduced stepwise regression analysis. accuracy classification improved using linear analysis to 76.3% penetrometer stiffness as a calibrator 84.2% postharvest days calibrator. performance shows that falling together adequate statistical provides promising approach in guava. nature validated by repeating test same specimen. mechanism is can therefore be integrated inference engine an automated sorter.
