摘要: In the Drosophila genome there is a single member of EGF receptor tyrosine kinase family. This fulfills multiple roles during development, as reflected by many designations given to mutant alleles in locus (Egfr, DER, faint little ball, torpedo and Ellipse). The full scope EGFR functions became apparent only recent years: activation was shown have an instructive role successive cell fate determination events oogenesis, embryogenesis, proliferation differentiation imaginal discs. To ensure fidelity these processes, precise place time are tightly regulated localized presentation activating ligands, conjunction with negative-feedback loop generated inhibitory secreted factor. cellular mechanisms that translate discrete fates now focus intense studies.
