摘要: We evaluated the predictive value of thyrotropin (TSH) response to thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) in 32 depressed outpatients completing a double-blind placebo-controlled trial s-adenosyl-l-methionine (SAMe), which failed show any significant difference between SAMe and placebo. Treatment was defined as change Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HRSD-24) score baseline end six-week trial. Subjects with TSH outside normal range (7-25 uU/ml) had significantly greater than patients response. There also correlation absolute deviations from mean (16 changes HRSD-24 scores.
