摘要: Cities provide places for people to live, work, learn and socialize. As urban environments, cities nowadays are typically characterized by sprawl in which open public spaces (1) neglected and/or (2) social interactions discouraged. In fact, the encouragement of among neighbors is a vital factor implementing livability city dwellers. Recent evidence suggests that occur infrequently contemporary neighborhoods. Therefore, it worth investigating how communities can be designed future with aim increase interactions. Al-Najada area Doha provides useful case study because traditional area, built based on formal structures aiming formation interaction old neighborhoods (which called Fereej Arabic). This paper investigated fabric implemented order enhance become an effective sample sustainable development.
