摘要: The qualitative and quantitative metallic content of tree barks Argania spinosa (L.) Skeels were studied. is an endemic species in Morocco. This adapted to semi-arid climates exposed specific conditions relative humidity, temperature, wind, particle transport. Three sites sampled Morocco: the large town Rabat, harbor Agadir, Ait Baha, a countryside location continuous desert wind. methodologies included (1) situ microanalysis with proton-induced X-ray emission (PIXE) (2) trace element determinations by mass spectrometry inductively coupled plasma (ICP-MS) associated extraction procedures. Both methods allowed detection elements coming from different bark compartments. profile airborne contaminants was typical sampling sites. level lead Rabat reached 100 ng cm(-2), or higher, while it varied between 3 35 cm(-2) Baha. study microscopic structure provided major minor at various depths inside bark. A differential free deposit on surface penetrated found for elements. suspected be mostly result recent contamination. Part spread out superficial suber. long-term accumulation affected Pb. In deeper levels, low concentrations resulting root uptake concurrently present resulted complex situation, as noted zinc.
