摘要: Governments may fail to adequately supply public goods, due, in part, declining budgets and entrenched methods of provision. This undersupply provides opportunities for private organizations supplement governmental efforts the provision goods with positive externalities. study examines a case where local, nongovernmental organization conducts fish stocking program on restored waterway West Virginia. Results show that anglers are generally supportive program. Estimated average willingness pay is about $29 per angler year, based results from grouped data Tobit model. Annual stated affected by distance site, knowledge program, demographics, fishing preferences, each which has implications promoting marketing trout Knowledge helps mitigate decay spillover benefits.
