Wearable queries: adapting common retrieval needs to data and users

摘要: The wealth of information generated by users interacting with the network and its applications is often under-utilized due to complications in accessing heterogeneous dynamic data retrieving relevant from sources having possibly unknown formats structures. Processing complex requests on such is, thus, costly, though not guaranteeing user satisfaction. Furthermore, contexts prevent substantial involvement interpretation requests.The paper envisions an innovative solution process above mentioned requests, limiting exploiting on: (a) context (geo-location, interests, needs); (b) processing quality; (c) similar repeated over time. By interpreting a request novel way means Wearable Query (WQ), i.e., query that captures specificities, we envision approach address needs distributed, heterogeneous, environments, emphasis geo-spatial dimension quality.
