摘要: An insulated container (10) and a process for shipping perishable products utilizes box (16) having lid (18) with an internal compartment receiving quantity of dry ice (32) or other expendable refrigerant. The products, which are prechilled, packed into the covered layer wet (24) pad (26). As sublimates, it freezes (26) refrigerates to maintain in chilled condition. Secondary refrigeration is provided by frozen (24).
