Process for preparing alcohol solutions of aluminum chlorhydroxides for antiperspirant use and for other uses and compositions containing the same

摘要: A process is provided for preparing alcohol solutions of aluminum chlorhydroxides by reaction a solution chloride in an aliphatic with blend or complex polyol and chlorhydroxide, thereby forming the chlorhydroxide having lower Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 :Cl mole ratio than starting material. The avoids use isopropylate, resulting do not form precipitates on standing, have good stability. They are accordingly particularly useful preparation nongelling stable antiperspirant aerosol other applications, where alcohol-soluble desirable.
