摘要: Human aging is associated with a loss of function involving organs or systems leading to pathologies such as cognitive impairment, macular degeneration, sarcopenia, frailty, cancer and increased susceptibility infections. The erosion the immune system one age-associated failures observed. delayed time for recovery infections are directly dysfunctions. Moreover, interventions aiming protect aged population vaccination have limited efficiency. eroded innate adaptive immunity responsible this phenomenon. Several prophylactic therapeutic approaches could restore immuno-depressed individuals. nutritional approach suitable aged-population since it requires less care than any medical its cost much lower which an important factor when considering health burden costs. Nevertheless, necessary carefully critically analyze recent development in field. In review, we will first discuss changes functions, collectively named immune-senescence then intake metabolism particular interest protein-energy malnutrition (PEM) finally outline some candidate against PEM immuno-senescence.
