摘要: OpenMRS is an open-source, robust electronic health record (EHR) platform that supported by a large global network and used in over forty countries. We explored what factors lead to successful implementation of resource constrained settings. Data sources included in-person telephone key informant interviews, focus groups responses survey from 10 sites 7 Qualitative data was coded through independent coding, discussion consensus. The most common perceived benefits were for providing clinical care, reporting funders, managing operations research. Successful include securing adequate infrastructure, sociotechnical system factors, particularly staffing, computers, ability use software. Strategic tactical planning strategies, including understanding addressing the infrastructure human costs involved, training or hiring personnel technically capable modifying software integrating it into daily work flow meet clinicians' needs.
