摘要: The flow and heat transfer of an electrically conducting non-Newtonian fluid due to a stretching surface subject partial slip is considered. constitutive equation the modeled by that for third grade fluid. analysis has been carried out two heating processes, namely, (i) with prescribed temperature (PST-case) (ii) flux (PHFcase) in presence uniform source or sink. Suitable similarity transformations are used reduce resulting highly nonlinear differential equations into ordinary equations. issue paucity boundary conditions addressed effective second order numerical scheme adopted solve obtained important finding this communication combined effects slip, magnetic field, (sink) parameter parameters on velocity, skin friction coefficient field. It interesting find decreases momentum layer thickness increases thermal thickness, whereas opposite effect velocity layers.
