摘要: Abstract The Global Precipitation Climatology Project (GPCP) satellite estimates have approximately twice the magnitude of produced from rain gauges used by GPCP in central equatorial Africa. Different possible explanations are identified and investigated. first is that there may not be enough area to provide accurate rainfall for comparisons with estimates. A comparison time-averaged gauge estimate a long-term (over 40 yr) climatology indicates similar averages, suggesting analysis underestimating rainfall.
