摘要: young children yearly. Essentially all will become infected; at least 1 %7 of those living in developing countries die unless protected by immunization. In urban areas, peak incidence occurs younger than three years. The youngest and most undernourished suffer the severe complications highest risk death. Diarrhea, malnutrition, pneumonia, blindness associated with vitamin A deficiency are worst complications. infection is preventable timely administration a potent vaccine. This endeavor requires well-managed technical administrative network that remains difficult to organize many areas world. vaccine efficacious has few adverse effects but must be provided during short interval between loss transplacentally acquired antibodies acquisition natural infection. improvements heat stability increase likelihood providing vaccine, cold chain prerequisite for any successful immunization program. Health education, improved management skills, publicity, community support important factors ultimately preventing morbidity mortality from this disease.
