摘要: Abstract Numerous human activities constitute threats to biodiversity. The effects of climate change, including increasing drought in already arid lands, pose an additional layer uncertainty the fate rare species. In case plants, reintroduction is becoming important active management practice species conservation. We hypothesized that even under extreme inoculation with mycorrhizal fungi would increase growth rates endangered plant experimental reintroduction. selected a species, Abronia macrocarpa , and conducted experiment Texas while area was experiencing mild intensities. Treatment plots were planted seed inoculated arbuscular control coated autoclaved inoculant. analyzed measurements development germinated plants. Mean number leaves greater treatment plants ( P  = 0.005) mean aerial diameter larger  = 0.02) than Significantly improved suggests viable technique success especially during periods drought.
