摘要: The popularity of multimedia multicast/broadcast applications over wireless networks makes it critical to address the error-prone, heterogeneous and dynamically changing nature channels. A promising solution combat channel fading is explore cooperative diversity in which users may help each other forward packets. This paper investigates multicast schemes that use a maximal ratio combiner enhance received signal-to-noise (SNR), provides thorough performance analysis. Two relay selection are considered: distributed genie-aided cooperation schemes. We derive closed-form formulation approximations their average outage probabilities. We also analyze optimal power allocation location strategies, show allocating half total transmission source minimizes probability. Our analysis simulation results gives better when more relays signals. Cooperative helps achieve order 2, user can significantly reduce probability, especially high SNR region. Finally, we compare two preferred since achieves lower probability without introducing extra overhead for control messages.
