摘要: Dendritic cells (DCs) play a crucial role in initiating immune responses against both foreign pathogens as well tumors. DCs also control the type, potency, and extent of T-cell responses, contribute to natural killer (NK) (NKT cell) antitumoral activity, B-cell-mediated immunity. However, antitumor are often deficient or suboptimal since tumor able exploit functional roles for progression. Suppression, dysfunction, repolarization DC function cancer patients all failure consequent disease Subversion immunity by altering immunoenvironment subset distribution is mediated various malignant cell-derived stroma-derived factors, many which remain be identified. Molecular mechanisms tumor-mediated dysfunction system under investigation, several signaling pathways responsible malfunction have been already described. Here, we summarize findings field biology discuss importance these data designing novel DC-based vaccination strategies, their applicability combinatorial therapeutic approaches.
