摘要: The intention to treat HIV-infected persons and correlates of those intentions were examined in a cross-sectional sample 1st- 2nd-year medical students (n = 201). An anonymous questionnaire measured knowledge HIV transmission, provide care persons, comfort performing physical examination on patients from subgroups with high prevalence, level homophobia, professional altruism, personal perceived risk infection. Intention was considered as the dependent variable. All variables except found be significantly related although showed weakest relationship (Odds Ratio 2.14). presence altruism homophobia associated significant increase effect increasing treat. Results this report support other studies that factors than play role clinical decision making regarding AIDS.
