Pressure equalization of rainscreen walls: a critical review

摘要: This paper reviews the state-of-the-art information concerning pressure equalization of rainscreen walls with a view to disseminate existing knowledge for architects and building engineers. During this review, emphasis is given (1) recent (post 1980) experimental theoretical investigations (2) design guidelines codification Pressure Equalized Rainscreen (PER) walls. Based on gathered from previous studies, needs new directions further research have been identified reported.
