摘要: We observe a dramatic enhancement of thermal conductivity in nanofluid containing magnetite particles average diameter 6.7nm under the influence an applied magnetic field. The maximum observed is 300% (k∕kf=4.0) at particle loading 6.3vol%. increase attributed to effective conduction heat through chainlike structures formed nanofluid. This finding consistent with theoretical prediction enhanced fractal aggregates [R. Prasher et al., Appl. Phys. Lett.89, 143119 (2006)].
