摘要: Mossbauer spectroscopy was used to follow the aging of ferrihydrite with different amounts acetate, achieve more crystalline products. spectra fresh samples did not show any magnetic components. After two years aging, solids presented fractions. Hematite formation inhibited as acetate content increased in solids. For an acetate/iron molar ratio equal 0.63 goethite formed instead hematite. X-ray diffraction confirmed these results. This work shows that synthetic can be for elucidating “anti-hematitic” effect organic matter already detected soils.
