摘要: Patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing hemodialysis have high rates of morbidity and mortality. Cardiovascular accounts for almost half this mortality, the single most common cause being sudden cardiac death. Early detection abnormalities in structure function may be important to allow timely appropriate interventions. Echocardiography is noninvasive imaging that widely available provides invaluable information on morphology function. However, it has limitations. operator dependent, image quality can vary depending operator‘s experience patient's acoustic window. Hemodialysis patients undergo regular hemodynamic changes also affect echocardiographic findings. An understanding prognostic significance interpretation results setting patient care. There are some emerging techniques provide more detailed accurate compared conventional 2-dimensional echocardiography. Use these novel tools further our pathophysiology hemodialysis.
