摘要: This paper investigates the influence of water column variability on estimates geoacoustic model parameters obtained from matched field inversions. The acoustic data were collected New Jersey continental shelf during shallow experiments in August 2006. oceanographic was evident when recorded. To quantify uncertainties parameter this environment, Bayesian inversion applied to multi-tonal continuous wave data. spatially and temporally varying sound speed is parametrized terms empirical orthogonal functions included inversion. Its impact geometric then analyzed by inter-parameter correlations. Two different approaches used obtain information about variation speed. One only profiles along experimental track experiment, other also observations over a larger area. both large small sample sets are consistent. However, due diversity oceanic speed, more needed profile samples used.
