Common themes and structures in male victims' stories of religion and sexual abuse

摘要: This paper presents some outcomes of research on the narrative construction religion and sexual abuse in male victims. Twelve open biographic interviews with adult survivors childhood have been analysed for content structure. Three themes were identified to appear all interviews: distance/proximity, power/powerlessness guilt/innocence. Using statistical methods (correlations cluster analysis), relation was investigated between these categories evaluation, life period addressed, religion, sexuality significant others. At group level, very few correlations or patterns found. Two possible explanations are discussed: (1) lack canonical stories (2) limitations competence as a result traumatization.
