摘要: Traditionally, biomass availability estimates from West Virginia have focused on primary and secondary mill byproducts logging residues. Other sources of woody are available that not been surveyed. Through a series field studies during 2010 2011, were developed for surface mine sites log landings in Virginia. Initial indicated approximately 28 green tons produced each acre cleared. Furthermore, 2.1 per forest harvested found landings. Continued research will help to refine our understanding
