Tropical root and tuber crops: production, perspectives and future prospects

摘要: The developing countries produce over 350.5 million tonnes of root and tuber crops. This publication focuses attention on the significant role these crops in economy countries. It analyzes production, harvesting, storage utilization cassava, yams, sweet potatoes edible aroids. future prospects for their national international food security are also highlighted.
