摘要: SUMMARY 1. We examined 7–12 years of monthly to quarterly historical data from 15 lakes in FL, U.S.A. determine the extent and outcome invasion by alien cladoceran Daphnia lumholtzi Sars. 2. The species was found 10 lakes, including Florida’s three largest lakes: Okeechobee, George Apopka. All surveyed had resident populations smaller native ambigua Scourfield. 3. In most D. occurred seven ninefold more often plankton samples than lumholtzi, at 10- 100-fold higher maximal densities. One exception a small lake central Florida (Lake Jesup), where attained high densities on several occasions sampling. 4. Lake were sufficient quality quantity perform statistical analyses, results canonical correlation analysis indicated that correlated with lower concentrations suspended solids, algal biomass temperature, whereas opposite conditions ambigua. 5. Based majority data, has successfully invaded many Florida, yet it not become substantive component zooplankton. Additional research is needed whether resources, fish predation or some other factor responsible for this invasion.
