Prototrophic hybrids of bakers yeast. I. Selection of haploids and diploids of prototrophic yeast

摘要: 153 haploids, including 8 prototrophs, 12 biotin prototrophs and 4 auxotrophs were isolated from Y, F FB strains of the baker's yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Remaining haploids dependent on vitamins B group other than biotin. Obtained characterized by large cell sizes, a or α mating type, ability to fermentation sugars assimilation non-fermented carbon sources. Haploids obtained Y good growth in synthetic medium. Prototrophic prototrophic with crossed. 89 hybrids capable medium without selected out 178 obtained. Hybrids are features typical for yeast; however, not all them sporulation. As result selection, 16 increase biomass molasses chosen. The efficiency designated as YY 3040/2, 3040/3 FFB 1910/2 is considerably higher one cultivation industrial strain French Mautner (Mf). All possess adequate enzymatic activity anaerobic metabolism saccharose maltose. Selected sent two factories country experimental propagation.
