/sup 16/O(p-arrow-right,. pi. /sup +/)O/sup 17/* at incident proton energies of 250, 354, and 489 MeV

摘要: Differential cross sections and analyzing powers are presented for the /sup 16/O(p-arrow-right,..pi../sup +/)/sup 17/O* reaction at T/sub p/ = 250, 354, 489 MeV compared with preliminary 200 data as well previously published taken other energies above below ..delta../sub 1232/ resonance region. The differential each final state exhibit an energy dependence similar to that of pp..-->..d..pi../sup +/ equivalent center mass four-momentum transfer, has been seen (p,..pi../sup +/) reactions target nuclei. shape power angular distributions varies 17/O/sup */ nuclear state. Some states broad similarities p-arrow-rightp..-->..d..pi../sup reaction, while others markedly different.
