摘要: Abstract Apparent gelation rates t−1gel, defined as the reciprocal of time, are measured for poly(vinyl alcohol) solutions functions polymer concentration, Cp, and quenching temperature, TQ. Here measurements limited to case homogeneous where TQ is below 0°C. The critical C∗ t = ∞ , extrapolated t−1gel 0 independent TQ, identical chain overlap Rg . In order represent degree a reduced o (C p - ) introduced. An experimental relation, A(TQ) o2, obtained temperature factor. dependence equation can be explained using concept random bond percolation theory, factor analysed by crystal nucleation theory.
