摘要: Backcasting represents a form of explicitly normative scenario analysis. This paper reviews some the key theoretical and methodological issues that are raised by backcasting approach discusses how these addressed in Georgia Basin Futures Project, five year participatory integrated assessment project focusing on modeling, analysis community engagement. The argues for “second generation” backcasting, where desired future is not determined advance but an emergent property process engaging with users partners.
