摘要: Niobium is a widely used micro-alloying element in steels that can retard the austenite-to-ferrite transformation primarily by solute drag when Nb remains solution. It critical to develop quantitative models predict effect of on kinetics. In present work, dedicated continuous cooling (CCT) studies were performed for low-carbon steel microalloyed with 0.047 wt pct starting from fully recrystallized austenite states same grain size but different amounts The kinetics described fundamental perspective assuming mixed-mode reaction including Nb. Using model Fazeli and Militzer, intrinsic interface mobility, trans-interface diffusivity Nb, its binding energy have been determined CCT data. interfacial parameters are critically analyzed compared independent measurements diffusion boundary segregation.
