摘要: Abstract The continuous search to combine clean energy supply with the efficient exploitation of bioenergy sources is one most recurring efforts meet global demands on an environmentally friendly basis. Sugarcane biorefineries play a central role in this context by providing sugar, ethanol and bioelectricity. However, high required production limits resource recovery efficiency conventional sugarcane processing, motivating investigation approaches that maximize energetic gains. This study proposes application anaerobic digestion (AD) as core processing step biorefineries, performance data for biomethanation juice, molasses vinasses from different sources, namely, first generation (1G; annexed autonomous) second (2G) production. A detailed scenarization-based assessment was also carried out, comparing proposed AD-based schemes chains. Relatively similar performances were obtained experimental step, irrespective compositional differences substrates. potential juice- molasses-based methane at least 2-fold higher than ones all types (282.81–627.84 vs. 57.10–131.52 MJ TC−1). Scenario comparison indicated biogas sugar (94.4%) sugars sugarcane. Finally, returned invested ratio estimated biogas-derived electricity exceeded 400%. Thus, have great criteria sustainable development goals coming decades.
