Facile bisurethane supramolecular polymers containing flexible alicyclic receptor units

摘要: This paper details the synthesis, characterisation and physical analyses of a series hydrogen bonded urethane supramolecular polymer systems that are created by facile one-step synthesis from inexpensive commercially available starting materials. We report low molecular weight bisurethanes (<650 a.m.u.) exhibit properties in bulk characteristic polyurethane materials possessing far higher weight. The characteristics these were investigated using temperature-dependent rheological analysis viscometry nature which compounds assembled was assessed IR NMR spectroscopies. These studies reveal simple self-assemble via bonding interactions.
