摘要: As a part of major experimental study forces in muscles and tendons it became necessary, as preliminary step, to know the stress-strain relationship human tendon. The studies reported herein give data from thirty tests on cadaveric plantaris tendon three states, i.e., moist, air dried oven dried. Results are correlated with previously published results strengths muscle bone. Considerable new information strength is presented several important deductive conclusions given. equipment methods described illustrated an appendix given, showing individual tests.
