摘要: Self-organized molecular layers provide a promising route to constructing new (switchable) nanodevices and optimizing nanosensors. The design of such molecules involves control structure stabilization on the surface, as well functionality. search for potentially universal "adapter", which can self-organization particular type is unique challenge. High-quality nanoscale imaging using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) provides means further studies. This article reviews our recent STM work single molecules, self-assembled monolayers, self-organized highlighting application general "self-organizer" graphite surfaces, i.e., Frechet-type dendron. How powerfully this self-organizing motif affect various central components (catalytic, switchable, redox-active) surface addressed by analyzing monolayers nine different each containing at least one first- or second-generation In "switchable" core, we detect large conformational change upon protonation with HCl gas. Last, but not least, dynamic organization properties dendrons are described.
