摘要: Many owner organizations use manual, visual methods for evaluating the condition of infrastructure. However, evaluation is labor intensive, time consuming, and potentially dangerous. Advances in remote sensing technology, such as high-resolution, multispectral digital aerial photography high-resolution airborne laser radar (LiDAR) provide new collecting information on infrastructure assets that can be used management. To evaluate potential using technology management, authors compared data extracted from photos LiDAR with reference pavement surface conditions were collected manually. The statistics spectral response bands within photographs elevation correlated to stepwise linear regression models. results show 0.1524-m (6-in.) resolution 1-m an infrared band closely match data. also These open way future assess system remotely.
