摘要: Size classification of nanoparticles is an important process in the electrical mobility particle size analyzer. The differential analyzer (DMA) one most commonly used devices for classifying and measuring nanometersized aerosol particles between 1 nm to µm diameter, based on their mobility. DMA can be described as assembly two concentrically cylindrical electrodes with air gap walls. In DMA, flows enter from end, pass through annulus exit other end. An electric field applied inner outer electrodes. Particles having a specific monodisperse flow small slit located at bottom electrode. These are transferred counter determine number concentration. past several decades, there have been numerous extensive studies developments DMA. Nonetheless, they different terms applications, construction, range, well time response resolution. purpose this article provide overview state-of-the-art existing DMAs generation nanometer range. A description operating principles, detailed physical characteristics these DMAs, including single-channel multi-channel some examples applications nanotechnology given.
