摘要: Samples of the macrobenthic fauna soft sediments were collected from around Svalbard during 1991 Arctic EPOS cruise RVPolarstern. Although faunal variability could be related to sediment granulometry and depth, all stations south east Archipelago lay within broadly defined central Barents Sea community. In this community,α-diversity was variable sampled between 77 337 m showed no clear relationship depth. Diversity in area close polar front notably high, rarefaction predicting that 43±5.5 species might occur a sample 201 individuals.k-Dominance plots suggested muddy sand communities less diverse than similar assemblages North Sea.
