摘要: The innate ability of infected macrophages to undergo programmed cell death (apoptosis) and curtail the infection is crucial for host defense. Although phagocytosis intracellular killing mechanisms leading apoptosis in are highly effective eliminating infecting tuberculous bacilli, some Mycobacterium tuberculosis(Mtb) strains have evolved strategies inhibit this microbicidal function make use macrophage its successful prolonged survival. Two clinical Mtb (S7 S10) found be prevalent primitive, based on molecular epidemiological studies, were used study magnitude induction THP-1 cells at various time points correlate it with phagocytosis. percentage did not show any strain-specific association differentiated cells. But phagocytic index, showed a low dose 1-10 bacilli category thereby exerting less burden was strain dependent. H37Ra S10 an increase all while S7 induced minimum apoptosis. A negative correlation between index observed positive > 20 index. This novel observation indicates that number internalized mycobacteria. These results indicated differential mode by their adaptation different survival may lead immune suppression pathogenesis disease.
