摘要: Root and shoot samples of Prosopis juliflora were assessed for their heavy metal content to evaluate the species as a green solution decontaminate soils contaminated with lead cadmium. The highest uptake both metals was observed in plants from industrial sites. Sites more anthropogenic disturbance exhibited reduced chlorophyll levels, stunted growth, delayed shortened reproductive phase. ratios cadmium leaves soil range 0.62–1.46 0.55–1.71, respectively. Strong correlation between degree contamination concentrations plant identifies P. an effective remediator coupled environmental stress.
