摘要: Citizen participation in local government has the potential to augment political efficacy, that is, expectation among citizens of being able wield effective action. Locally, efficacy is a product way councillors respond citizen engagement and attitudes they have means available engage politics about what drives engagement. Political linked councillors' willingness transmit others governance network which perceive their role as councillor representative. The article reports findings elite research examined how reconcile an elected representative with whether such provides influence networks.
