摘要: Abstract This study investigates the performance of a hybrid passive cooling system, applied on fully-glazed facades typical office spaces, in reducing facade surface temperature and space thermal loads. The proposed system consists Photovoltaic Thermal (PVT) panel, evaporative cooler, evaporatively-cooled facade, fan pump, to forcefully cool hot outdoor air attenuate temperature. physical design cooler overcomes problem its limited humid weathers. A predictive heat mass transport model combining subcomponents was developed integrated with model. An experimental validation then carried out without evaluate ability representing real life conditions; good agreement found between experiment as maximum discrepancies hourly temperatures loads were 6.0% 12.2%, respectively. case Doha Qatar, mimicking country harshly weather conditions. During summer representative day, application able moderate load throughout day yield 14.5% savings daily total energy demand.
