摘要: Moisture management is a key element to improving the cost-efficiency of energy wood supply, through whole supply chain. Numerous studies natural drying forest biomass have been carried out based on traditional sampling piles or weighing. The latest methodology for monitoring moisture changes has continuous weighing in racks built load cells. aim this study was develop accurate models Austria and Finland small diameter logs test exchangeability developed between countries. Overall periods were December 2009 February 2011 March 2012 June 2013 Finland. content dropped from 50.1% 32.2% (Austria) 62.2% 38.6% (Finland) during periods. Drying performance evaluated period April October. Two different types results cross validated. It proved be possible fit satisfactory within target deviation ± 5% using both approaches. Whereas Austrian approach more basic set variables, Finnish combines variables one. Both ap- proaches are justified depending available data.
