Comparison of real-time NOx emission measurements from two heavy-duty diesel engines

摘要: This study investigated the real-time NOx emissions from a heavy-duty diesel truck and bulk carrier ship. The test road vehicle was driven on combination of flat hilly route Brisbane to Toowoomba that covered urban, rural motorway driving. On-board ship were measured sea port Gladstone Newcastle. both engines compared analysed understand influence engine parameters as well variables power transmission emissions. Results these measurements show increased with speed however significant emission can be seen during idling condition while producing low power. On other hand, followed an approximate cubic relationship function RPM is completely different truck.
