摘要: Abstract A finite element (FE) formulation is presented for the linear buckling analysis of curved beams and arches on elastic and/or point rigid foundations. The shape function adapted herein embodies body modes as well deformation modes. With 12 degrees freedom (six at each end), master can represent all possible general shapes spatial arches. To develop function, kinematical relations are solved in terms perturbations strain curvature change to yield a Specific examples in-plane out-of-plane stability problems investigated corresponding loads obtained.
