摘要: Traditional methods of travel data collection are often limited by high costs, infrequent updates, or small sample sizes. Several emerging technologies, such as mobile phone positioning, global positioning system tracking, and Bluetooth re-identification, now allow for easier acquisition long-term continuous trip with little to no interaction subjects. Growing interest in the use these passive techniques modeling necessitates an evaluation trends concerns among researchers practitioners. This paper contributed this growing discussion field first conducting a literature review, then developing web-based survey interviews transportation professionals identify current applications limitations data. Based on insights gained from efforts, set research recommendations was developed, which will support continued emergence technologies. The results revealed that s...
