Adsorption Behavior of Cu(II) in Aqueous Solutions by SQD-85 Resin

摘要: The adsorption and desorption properties of SQD-85 resin for Cu(II) had been investigated. A series experiments were conducted in a batch system to assess the effect variables, i.e. initial pH, contact time temperature. results show that optimal pH was 5.99 HAc-NaAc system, maximum capacity estimated 324 mg/g at 298 K. apparent activation energy Ea rate constant k298K values 6.19 kJ/mol 9.73×10 �5 s �1 , respectively. isotherms data fitted well Langmuir model. Thermodynamic parameters ( �G, �S, �H) suggested by endothermic spontaneous nature. Thomas model applied determine characteristic column useful process design. Desorption studies revealed ion could be eluted with 1.0 mol/L HCl solution., which indicated aqueous solution removed recovered efficiently. Adsorption mechanism also proposed onto using FT-IR spectrometry technique.
