Pathological gambling and major affective disorder: preliminary findings.

摘要: Twenty-five pathological gamblers were examined for additional DSM-III diagnoses and family history of psychiatric illness. Eighteen subjects (72%) had experienced at least one episode major depression, 13 (52%) recurrent affective episodes. A high prevalence (20%) panic disorder and/or agoraphobia was also found.
