摘要: Recent measurements of the elastic constants at temperatures close toT c for niobium and lead would indicate strong individual quadratic strain dependences ∂2 T /∂e i e j , which combined predict a considerableP 2 contribution to pressure their superconducting transition temperatures. These predictions are in conflict with direct experimental observations variation ofT 25kbar, exhibit no evidence any significant component. The implications this discrepancy discussed.
